Steve Irwin died Sept. 4th 2006. A Sting Ray¡¦s tail pierced his heart. He was filming the Sting Ray for a show on Discovery Channel that his eight-year- old daughter was going to host. The Ray stabbed him in the heart for no apparent reason. Many scientists labeled the attack from the generally friendly Ray, a freak attack.
Steve Irwin was 44. He was swimming in the ocean. He was in the middle of filming a documentary, but the weather was too rough. When he noticed the Sting Ray he swam up to it filming it. All of a sudden the Sting Ray attacked him and pierced him through the heart. Steve Irwin was an overall nice man. He made people gasp and laugh through his TV show. He delighted all children of Australia through his zoo. He delighted all animal supporters by donating money to animal shelters and animal foundations. Many people were shocked. Such a sudden loss is a shock to all of Australia, one man said. His wife and two children survive him.
Steve Irwin was a great man and this is a loss to all of the world. Goodbye Steve Irwin.
