A World Vision

Warren Chu
8/14/2006

A Korean choir, which once was made up of orphans, are now performing to save them. This choir, called World Vision, hopes to raise enough money to save orphaned children all over Korea.

They are coming to America to sing for people, to save the lives of many parentless children. World Vision, once created to help war orphans and war widows, was created by Bob Pierce. It’s headquarters used to be Monrovia, California, a small town, located near Los Angeles. It has recently changed though. Bob Pierce started the choir, made up of musically talented orphans from all over Korea, in1960. Now the choir is working to save Korean orphans. They sing and perform and give an important message to help better the life of a young, parentless child. South Koreans donate $40 million a year. Korean Americans all over America donate $10 million. These acts really do persuade people to help orphans.

People donate money to help orphans have a better life. This truly brings out the goodness that people have. This truly is a great world vision.
